Starshine & Friends read for Blind & Dyslexic Recordathon

Starshine gathered a gaggle of girlfriends to help read her book for the annual Recordathon at Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic.

She and 10 friends had a ball reading “Keep Your Skirt On” aloud. The audiobook will be available to blind or dyslexic readers at the organization’s Santa Barbara branch, as well as at its national headquarters in Washington, D.C., which loans books to people throughout the country.

RFB&D provides recorded books to people of all ages who have trouble reading regular books. More than 235,000 people nationwide use the service Ñ and many credit it with helping them earn college degrees Ñ thanks to volunteers who record a chapter at a time from comfy sound booths.
